2024 Volvo Trucks VAH 400

Auto transport can be tough on equipment and drivers. So we began the Volvo VAH with many of the same heavy-duty features found in our off-road vocational vehicles. • Uptime

Standard in every Volvo-powered VAH, Remote Diagnostics can help avoid unexpected downtime with constant monitoring of your Volvo engine, I-Shift, and aftertreatment.

• Safety

The VAH is packed with safety features, starting with Volvo Active Driver Assist for improved collision avoidance. It also features our new LED headlamps to improve visibility with a de-icing feature to keep light on the road in colder climates.

• Driver Productivity

The VAH interior is filled with innovations inspired by conversations we had with thousands of drivers. Because every driver is one of a kind.

• Fuel Efficiency

No matter the road or the load, we’ve created two outstanding engine options that deliver all the power and efficiency you need for auto transport.

• Volvo Active Driver Assist (VADA)

In the VAH, our collision-avoidance system integrates radar and automatic braking features. VADA monitors for hazards from highway speed down to 15 mph, with the ability to completely stop in emergency braking situations.

• Remote Start

The optional Remote Start feature allows drivers to start or stop the engine from outside the cab, while the PTO is engaged, using a switch which can be mounted to the rear of the cab. It also includes an in-cab switch on the left side of the dash, which is accessible from the ground. Remote Start provides greater productivity and improved fuel savings.

• New LED Lighting

The VAH features new LED headlights for greater visibility with distinctive daytime running lights. Turn, marker, and parking lamps are all LED powered. The fully-sealed headlamp component offers a brighter, more focused beam. The new design offers a longer life and even includes an optional heating feature for de-icing in cold weather.
